The Tresses of Jannat Part2

Description : TRESSES OF JANNAT is our second book on the question of the Prohibition of hair-cutting for women. In this time of moral corruption, immodesty, immorality, total abandonment of Hijaab, female expression and exhibition and the emulation of kuffaar styles and fashions by Muslim males and females, some lost soul wandering aimlessly in a valley of deception, observing mirages of his academic ?greatness' and ability in what he believes to be ?ijtihaad', deemed it appropriate to give further impetus to the avalanche of nafsaaniyat and shaitaaniyat which have engulfed the Muslim community on all sides. The Ummah has drifted far, very far from the Path of Rectitude ? from the Sunnah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). From every side and in every sphere of Muslim life, there are a multitude of forces out to plunder just about everything good which Muslims have inherited from the illustrious Predecessors (Salf-e-Saaliheen).

The Tresses of Jannat Part1

Description : It is our misfortune that we had it imposed on us to read a spiritually nauseous essay captioned: WHAT IS THE SHAR`I RULING ON WOMEN CUTTING THEIR HAIR? This essay of baatil (falsehood) is the writing of a maulana turned shaykh, Taha Karaan of Cape Town , who deemed it proper to set himself up as a ?mujtahid'. He thus cast off all vestiges of respect and shame. He achieved this ignoble feat in his miserable and abortive attempt to refute the fourteen century Shar`i prohibition on women cutting their hair. He subtly labours in the hash he has written to set himself up on a superior plane than that occupied by the Aimmah-e-Mujtahideen, Fuqaha and Muhadditheen of the Khairul Quroon era (the first three generations after Rasulullah - sallallahu alayhi wasallam). With his shallow intelligence, defective knowledge and oblique vision he deceives himself into believing that he possesses the qualities and the qualifications to refute the sacred rulings which the Aimmah-e-Mujtahideen and the other illustrious authorities of the Shariah have structured on the immutable basis of the Qur`aan and Sunnah?rulings which have been reliably, authentically and authoritatively transmitted down the long corridor of Islam's fourteen century history.

Women in Musaajid and Islam

Description : An article: THE MASAAJID AND MUSLIM WOMEN, written by Maulana/Sheikh Adam Moosa Makda of Zimbabwe, and distributed by the Zimbabwe Islamic Mission has just been brought to our notice. Perusal of the article convinced us of the harm and Imaani damage which the baatil views propounded by the author can cause to unwary Muslims. We have therefore considered it our Islamic duty to prepare this refutation of the baseless and un-lslamic exposition of the question presented by the modernist Maulana/Sheikh . The Maulana/Sheikh has acted in violation of the Sunnah by having chosen a stand in opposition to the exhortation of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). Rasulullah(sallallahu alayhi wasallam) exhorted women to remain indoors and to perform their acts of Ibaadat in the innermost recesses of their homes. In direct contrast, the Maulana/Sheikh has deemed it appropriate and worthy of his position as an Aalim to ignore the wishes and exhortation of Nabi-e-Kareem (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). It has, therefore, become imperative for us to lay bare the facts and dispel the darkness which clouds the baatil opinions of the Maulana/Sheikh, which he sought to administer to the Ummah as facts of the Shariah. But, baatil shall be exposed and demolished by Allah Ta'ala.
