WHAT IS SIN

Sin is not o­nly such acts which people generally believe to be sinful, e.g. stealing, killing, fornication and the many other well-known acts of sin. Every futile act which leads to sin is also a sin. For example, ignoring Rasulullah's instruction of remembering Maut or the Qur'aan's command to engage in perpetual thikr, is also sinful because it leads to ghaflat (indifference) and hardness of heart which in turn lead to the commission of flagrant acts of sin.
